Vinnys Coupe Dyno
This is actually franks old car wich he sold to Vinny, 375inch windsor based motor with a pt101mm turbo (106mm necked down to a 101) car makes great power and frank has piloted it to 7.35 @ 195mph. Vinny just got the motor rebuilt and they threw it on the dyno today with 0miles and made a 20psi, 24, and 34psi dyno runs before taking it to the track to make sure all is in order. Even though the tires spun at 34psi. Enjoy!

Numedia april 12th
Took the trans am and the turbo rusty to numedia dragway today, what a beautiful day for drag racing, ryan testing out his new fuel system, wastegate setup, and 28 inch full slick's. Ryan set a new best time at 10.505 @ 131.99mph he even yanked the wheels 2x today, but their 60ft clock wasnt working, im certain they were in the 1.4x range for those times. Donovan was doing pretty good, a couple of high 10s, tieing up his 10.75 run again, he started to have trouble with the noids, also he forgot his hp tunerz software so he couldnt change his shift points wich needed minor changing, also he needs to go slightly lower on his spraying rpm.

Nice Saturday drive
changed out the plugs this morning with some NGK's and took out the car to get some more cruise throttle tuning done, we decided to get some flyby video of how the car sounds with the recirculated wastegate and ryan decided to get wacky and do a nice 2nd gear linelock to 3rd gear hellatious smoke show.... i know you'll enjoy.

She's Alive!
Well, did a crazy amount of stuff today, finished the fuel system, tested it for leaks, installed the alt bracket that halpin water jetted, installed the intake/throttlebody and the up pipe from the intercooler, ran all the wires for the new distributer, installed new tstat neck since the other one runs into the new hyme joint tensioner, connected, double checked, triple checked, finished the gauges in the interior, wich work great and i dont have a pic doh. Lots and lots done, ulitmately ended in us trying to fire the car, it being 180 out like always, then fixing it and firing it up, and ryan has a nice stiff idle tuned already, tomorrow it goes out on the street and possibly on the dyno...

After installing the new wastegate and getting all the welding finished, we took the kit up to the sloppy northern facility and glass beaded the turbo kit, to clean off the rust and welding dirt, and started spraying it down with some fresh coats of BBQ pit paint. the turbomustangs secret high temp coating haha.

New Wastegate
Well Ryan got the new wastegate about a week ago, and after some of the other jobs are out of the way its time to start working on the 5.0 again. Putting the wastegate on the top so it gets priority over the turbo and routing it back into the exhaust to make it quieter, also helps with scavenging excess gas out of the wasgate. I cant wait to hear it without the dump, should have a nice wicked turbo whistling sound. Here is the start.

First pass out was a new best 10.70, 2nd run he spun bad in 1st and ran a 10.90, then on his last run he made it work and went 10.70 @ 134mph! flyin at 11psi! Here are some pics and video from today!

AEM Wideband
Well today, after some trouble with the LC1 wideband, i told ryan he could take the AEM wideband off the bike and see if he likes it, if he does, he can buy me another one after we are doing fabbing my turbo kit. So today we removed the LC1 and installed the AEM in the car, and setup the ECU etc etc, all it all it went pretty quick and came out very clean, sice the lc1 has a ton of extra wires and whatnot in the engine bay. Here are some pics from today.

Move the wastegate, Street tires etc
Ryan Sold the interior out of the convertable fox body, and picked up a set of street rims and tires for the mustang. Identical to his rims with steel belted drag radials, instead of running on the balloon bias ply slicks all the time. We also wanted to move the gate flat on the merge because its having some trouble relieving all the exaust gas on the petastal mount its on, also it developed a slight header leak when the wastegate line came off and it was overboosting. So we cleaned all that up, fixed it up and letting it cure overnight and it can play tomorrow. Here are some pics
