Probe Dyno day
Making some changes to the probe to get it ready for nopi nationals, the guys at psi motorsports removed the 91mm turbos that were on and installed some y2k 88mm's so they would be legal in Nopi's race class. Matt fabbed up a whole new air to water after cooler and cold side piping for the front end, and they tossed it on the dyno for some shakedown passes before nopi this weekend. Here are some pics and video!

Bike hold ups
Well, i knew it when i first took it apart, and the buckets fell out of the head that i was going to have to play with these in the end... When i first started the bike it had a nice valve tick, i knew right away what it was, and even during assembly i thought, why dont i check the valve clearance before i assemble this.. nah, i wanna get it running asap. Figures. Cyl4 is missing the shim completely, and 2 of my other cyls are a bit tight, so ill get a nice adjustment in. The nice weather is killing me.

Bike has a Boo Boo
Well, appears the bike has a boo boo, after a quick tear down, it appears i melted a piston strait thru, blew the ringlands, and welded parts of it to the head and barrel. Awesome.

Gokart done!
Well not reliably done! but we did have it out for a short ride, the bottom of the motor moves a little and upsets the chain, we are going to make something to stabilize the lower part of the motor and trans to stop the motor from torquing out of place, and throwing the chain. Didnt take many pics, here is what i have.
Truck HID install
Ryan bought a HID kit for the truck, to improve the light over stock and to also test out the kit, and see if he would order the same one for the mustang. Installation went very smooth surprisingly, everything works great! Very clean clear light! If you are intrested the site was, CQ light

gokart project
Started on our little gokart project today, picked up the gokart at coreys house and cleaned her off a bit, cut out all the wiring and rollcage foam, removed the centrifical clutch setup and removed the motor from the fiddy, looks like everything is a go from here... this project is going to be fun for sure!
Mustang fuel system removal
removed the gas tank, and stock fuel system from the car today, ryan is going to get a sump kit and some big boy fuel system components together for this year.

Exhaust Flap Removal
removed the exhaust flap in the diesel today, it was starting to stick shut and lugging the truck, there is also word going around that you get a bit of a power increase without it, and people who have removed them say the truck warms up the same, so as far as i can see there is no use for it.... out it goes!

Vert Parts Car
Finally finished stripping out the vert parts car the other day, I actually forgot to post about this, ryan just sent me some extra pics now so i guess its better than never posting them. We ripped the rear out of the car by winching it up on the trailer, backing it into the garage and using the engine stand to lift the rear end of the car up! then unbolted the rear and kicked it out from under the car! haha. The wheels actually stopped it from hitting the diff or anything as we had planned, or at least hoped it would work out that way, then we took out parts of the dash, pedals, gauge cluster etc, cut off the power steering rack and anything that was good enough to sell, then junked the car. Here are some pics
