detroit auto show 2010
Corey, Nela, and I went to the Detroit auto show saturday to check it out, it was awesome, only 12 bucks to get in. Here are some pics i took.

Work on Ryans Nova
stopped by my friend ryans today to check out some of the work he is doing to his nova, installing a 6l iron LSX motor, 4l80e trans, and a home made turbo kit. today he cleaned up and powder coated the intake manifold he has, and set it on top to see how it looks.

this is pretty much the epitome of awesome, 200 dollar car, motorswap, turbo kit, what could be more fun than a tiny 1500lb car with 180rwhp! and tq to match! at only 5lbs of boost!

RIP 1968 Mexican block *el diablo*
this is an end of an era, tonight we laid a dear friend to rest, a friend that was with us for 3 years, he stuck with us through all of our stupidity, learning, and beatings, carried this 1989 mustang into the 10s many times, he has finally called it quits. survived by 4 broken pistons, and most of a rotating assembly he will be remembered...
remember all the good times ladies and gentleman.

EGR blockoff and boost gauge
blocked off the EGR today in coreys TDI, so the intake wouldnt get gummed up, and so that it would get better mileage. also added a boost gauge that we have had laying around for a while. 0-15psi, it pegs this thing pretty good sometimes haha.

TDI exhaust
we wanted this TDI to actually sound, and stink, and breathe like a diesel. to blow black smoke, smell like unburnt kerosine, and whistle like a dump truck. So we strait piped the whole exhaust and gutted the stock cat.

10 min exhaust install on the TDI

and another mustang gets its 410s
Corey and Donavan pulled some junkyard 4.10s out of an explorer for cheap today, and then me and don threw them in, only took about an hour and a half, workin on our backs, and with a trip to walmart for gear oil and rtv for the cover.
work great chirps 4th. no pictures sorry, we wanted to get it done, and we were too dirty.

fuel tank fun
Today Donavan pulled the tank out of his parts car, and i helped him install his 255lph walboro in the red notch's tank, then we installed it in the yellow car, so it will be ready for spray.
