Dyno the van
tonight we decided to dyno my dads van, 361 s&s longblock with a 305 TPI top end, and 24lb injectors, 700r4 auto trans, 3.18 rear gears.
could not get the converter to lockup, even in 3rd, at 85mph, i would roll into the gas and it would unlock and downshift into 2nd, so the numbers are screwed up, 130hp 200ftlbs. But here is the video of our best pull.

this is pretty much the epitome of awesome, 200 dollar car, motorswap, turbo kit, what could be more fun than a tiny 1500lb car with 180rwhp! and tq to match! at only 5lbs of boost!

My friend jace stopped at franks today to have him tune his turbo mustang, 101mm, 408w, 2spd glide, 8.8 rear.
he had a goal of 800rwhp on pumpgas and they found it.

daves sloppy nitrous S2k
my friend dave drove up from jersey today, to finish his nitrous install, get a bottle fill and a dyno tune all on a sunday morning haha.
ive been trying to convince him for a while to use nitrous, he didnt want to spend thousands on a turbo kit, just wanted a bit more for the track and for fun, sloppy mechanics hooked him up!

Sloppy Mechanics 3rd Annual Fall Dyno Day
Amazing Turnout, really a crazy amount of people and cars, we even had a street vender serving food and drinks! we did 46 cars, everything from diesel trucks, turbo hondas, supras, and supercharged corvettes. we even had a strap break and another car pop its intake manifold off on the dyno.
I will be adding pics and video as i get it uploaded, and also ask permission from other users as they post pics too, i would love to publish their content! so if you have anything you want uploaded on this site, you can send it to me in HTML format, preferably thumbnailed using something like photobucket, that would be awesome.
