turbo truck is back...
we checked the fluids and buttoned it up, and then drove her to the dyno, it made 530rwhp on 13psi, so it is doing great, we will jam a little more wastegate spring in there and see how she does on 19-20

1935 Auburn Speedster Replica
i finally got to finish tuning this car today, what a riot this thing is to drive.
2001 GMC sierra engine and trans, 4.11 posi rear, and a magnacharger bolted on.
it made a very safe 335rwhp and 356ftlbs of tq. with the stock cam, manifolds etc, it cruises very nice, and calm, and if you hit it from a stop it will fry off 1st and 2nd gear and go sideways. incredible car.

dyno testing
took her out to the dyno today for some testing!
loaded it up and made some rips, boost hits 3.5psi! with the lowest spring in the x02 60mm gate kit, pretty nice to know you can get the boost that low if you want to, these gates work great!
we did some spring swapping and the one stiffest spring is running 10lbs dead even across teh board, tune is close enough and everything is working great, we are gunna put the body work back on and take her out on the street, the dyno i use is a really light weight dynojet 24 inch roller that is inertia only, very bad for tuning big auto big turbo cars, so when its ok on 10lbs for a while we will call up frank and use the big boy mustang dyno and see what numbers she makes.
making indicated 505rwhp at 10lbs of boost and 18 deg of timing with 11.5 AFR
seems like our oil line is feeding a bit much, and the drain might be leaking too, little bit of oil dripping and smoking but if thats the only problem the first time out we will take it!

took the busa to the dyno today
loaded her up on motor, and layed down 140hp, i was able to straiten the bike out and make another 11hp totaling 151on motor. the race gas actually made the bike richer than the pumpgas i was running.
ended up with a 13.2 AFR and 34deg of timing in the motor.
happy with that i moved on to the 30shot
i ended up using a 12.5-13.0 AFR and 32deg of timing to make 170 hp to the tire with a 24 nitrous jet in my dry bar.
tire was getting so boogery it was throwing rubber in the dyno bay, youll see on the video it hits me and the dude in the back of the head and arms haha
it was throwing chunks like this on the 60shot
same 12.5-13.0 afr wide open, a little fatter on the hit to be safe, and 30 deg of timing made 200.xx to the tire.
whats most amazing is my power curve holds power flat at 200hp from 9-11k on the dyno, pretty awesome for a 1200cc bike.
dyno pull on motor
dyno pull on 60shot (50rwhp, pretty good for a long bike with alot of chain)
and the three pulls overlayed
ill get video up in a little gotta cut through it.
all in all i am extremely happy with picking up more power on motor when i was already trapping low 140mph range.
and the increase of 50hp is pretty retarded, going to take alot of getting used to, and a better tire.
the owner at JD Cycleworks (http://www.jdscycleworks.com) is an awesome guy, very knowledgeable and was the only tuner in the tristate area with a bike dyno that would let me tune my own god damned bike lol
bike sounds so amazing on nitrous that on motor it sounds like a turd haha.
Video!
