Island 11-16-08

Corey actually got his best 60ft today, 1.47 60ft, and then tried a bit harder and broke an axel, damn cobra. lol.

I ran the GT and nabbed 3x 13.50s, best of 13.51@100.59, i think the slicks i borrowed 26x11.5s are a bit much for the car, and is actually slowing me down a bit, gunna try some drag radials and see how that does.

Beaver Springs

Bad and a good day... alternator is dead on teh cobra, you can hear it whining before corey does his burnout, and it was running out of voltage, so pumps, igtition etc was breaking up during his first run. sucks because he hooked up great. he went low 11s at 125, donovan got a great run in 10.80 @ 130mph, new best MPH. shortly after that his nitrous window switch quit...

Gus and Javier ran like 10+ times! Gus was in the 11s all day, and Javier ran a few 9 sec passes at 140+

Island 5.4.08

Started off as a shitty rainy day, but the sun quickly came out and island dragway was open! Took my bike out to the track for the first time since i put the motor together, and it did great. 4 10 sec runs, best of 10.62 @ 129mph.

Numedia april 12th

Took the trans am and the turbo rusty to numedia dragway today, what a beautiful day for drag racing, ryan testing out his new fuel system, wastegate setup, and 28 inch full slick's. Ryan set a new best time at 10.505 @ 131.99mph he even yanked the wheels 2x today, but their 60ft clock wasnt working, im certain they were in the 1.4x range for those times. Donovan was doing pretty good, a couple of high 10s, tieing up his 10.75 run again, he started to have trouble with the noids, also he forgot his hp tunerz software so he couldnt change his shift points wich needed minor changing, also he needs to go slightly lower on his spraying rpm.

Island 4.6.08

Went out to the strip today, pretty good day all in all, corey ran some high 10s, and then broke an axel (yeah like that hasnt happened before) but he was happy with the runs for the day, and no reason not to be. Ryan got an 11.0 in on about 8psi and then went to 13psi and the car got loose about 3/4 track. let out and went 11.0 again, for some reason his fans, wich never had a problem before were blowing fuses, so we went 5 over. and on his last pass he went 10.80 @ 130, not bad for the first day out of the season, the a1000 is also still giving us trouble. Eric went 13.50 at 110mph on his street tires, pretty damn good.

Island March 22nd, Corey Sets New Unported IRS 6spd Record.

Today corey picked me up to goto the track at about 8am, there was snow on the ground in my yard, haha. He had already talked to someone at island and they said the weather was clear and there was no water or snow on the ground, It was starting to get sunny already at 8am. By the time we got up there the sun was bright and the temp was in the mid 40s. The shelby guys came and corey lined up for his first pass, he cut a 1.52, missed third and still went 11.3, not bad at all. Next run out he went 10.94 @ 124, new record pretty awesome, car went 1.48 60ft and he said it felt like it had more in it. He lined up again and went 1.48 again and ended up running 10.88 @ 125mph, best time ever, and also a new record for IRS, unported eaton, 6spd car. Here is a TON of pics from today, and ill be uploading video of coreys runs separately and the days runs.

First Day at Island

Corey and Donovan went to island for the first time of the season, I couldent go so no pics or video im sorry, Donovan went 10.75 @ 127 1.55 60ft and was happy with the flawless pass, and decided to quit before his flexplate breaks. Corey went 11.00 @ 127mph 1.50 60ft, pretty damn awesome for the first time out of the season. His goal is to work that down to a 1.4x 60ft area and go 10.8x.

Atco Dec 1st

Since the cobra still has a broken axel, and troy could not make it to the track today, he had corey take the gt500 to make a few passes, Best for the day on the gt500 was 11.19 @ 126mph, Ryan was trying a new set of 27 inch hoosiers and they were garbage, he managed to spin into th 1.5-1.6 range and still go 10.68 @ 132mph. Timmy was running the truck and when he didnt spin he was going very consistent low 12s.

Cecil County

Cecil County SSOTN track rental, a new best time for ryan again! 10.55 @ 135

Cecil County Nov 3rd

Went down to the street car shootout today at cecil county, got to watch some crazy outlaw cars and streetcars race, and went for some test and tune sessions with the rusty... First pass out was a new best 10.70, 2nd run he spun bad in 1st and ran a 10.90, then on his last run he made it work and went 10.70 @ 134mph! flyin at 11psi! Beaver springs, saturday sept 22nd

sloppy mechanics visit beaver springs sept 22nd, there was basically no track prep, and it was high of 92f. So none of us did great. But i managed to best my time with a 30shot of nitrous haha

ryan ran 10s out of the gate, the prep was garbage because even the cobra was spinning, and that is the hook and bog machine.

Ryan and corey were pretty pissed with the prep, i dont need much prep with the bike, anyway enough with the babbling here is some video!

Sunday at island dragway

Well, another usual day at island, lots of weird shit happened, as island seems to have bad luck for everyone. Ryans first two passes his wastegate line popped off, so the car ran too much boost and blew the intake pipe off the throttle body, then we fixed that and on his last run the recent suspension upgrades surprised him, understandably haha when the front end didnt move at all before and now it goes sky high, he missed 2nd. Tom also had some fun with his clutch fork coming loose one run and then the hood flying off on another.... Here are pics, the video will be up soon.

Beaver Springs Dragway

Corey, Ryan and I went to beaver springs dragaway this morning, such a nice track, never busy and the people there are relaxed.

Etown Raceway Park Sept 1st

Wokeup early with corey and drove the cobra down to raceway park at 7am, saw henry there with the gt500, corey ran 2 times and the tri-ax shifter was acting up and he ended up missing a gear both passes, he is ordering a MGW shifter and going back out next weekend, One good result is the axels didnt break! Here is some video.

Maple Grove Friday Night

Went to Maple Grove Friday night for some drag racing, Ryan and Brian took the mustangs. The first run was the best for both of them and they even got to line up, but my camera was giving a dirty tape error... damnit haha. Here is the video from last night.

Numedia dragway

pretty nice track i have to say, prep was very good, tech was cake.

I checked the elevation, its 1000ft pretty high when you consider atco is less than than 200ft, and on a good day they are below sea level... but island doesnt hook for shit, and this track was sticky as fuck!

and ryan just cant catch a fuckin break... plastic firewall clutch cable passthru broke after his burnout... what the fuck. yeah well, another 50 bux another problem solved. back out next weekend for sure.

Island July 22nd

Me and Ryan and Eric went to island today, Ryan was gunna make some shakedowns since the car was just rebuilt and the new suspension pieces are installed, and i wanted to take the bike and make some passes on the nitrous and get used to it. On Ryans second pass a coolant hose came off so he called it quits, i made about 5 passes i think, sprayed the 20 and the 30 today and the bike really picked up mph, for some reason the bike was running slower, even on motor only. It was a pretty hot day and im guessing the air just wasnt right. my best was a 10.60 at around 135, my all motor mph was a 128, kinda lacking. I will have Video up shortly, but here is the pictures for now.
