s13 shell
So on Monday of last week Ryan and I took his F350 and the trailer to Camden NJ (yeah I know) and picked up this gem for $450. We towed it home and looked it over. It's going to have almost ever body panel replaced anyways so I don't mind the dents, etc. I wanted a car with a black interior, sunroof, no underbody rust, and no cracks in the dash. Thats exactly what I got. It's an automatic with bad body work and it doesn't run, but all that stuff would've changed anyways. The interior is actually in really nice shape (not that I'll use it). I just secured a garage to store the car in on Wednesday of this week. So with that and the paycheck for the end of the month and some money from the sale of the blue 636 should buy this baby a S13 SR20DET Red Top motor, motor mounts, a koyo radiator, new clutch, a set of altima fans, 3in downpipe, 3in exhaust, Z32 MAF, cone filter, walbro 255 and the wiring service for the swap. After that stuff is purchase I'll scouring junkyards for the 5 speed swap stuff, and a new ignition column (the part for the key is fucked - key won't come out) and a new set of locks (driver's side lock cylinder doesn't work) and then we'll look into body work as well as a running car. Stay tuned for more progress... Here's pics of the car. Pics of the garage on the way...
