Quickshifter Install

I picked up a MPS Racing Quick shifter very cheap, and I went ahead and opted for the schnitz wiring harness for the coils, so i wouldent have to wreck my stock wiring coils. This was pretty strait forward, pull the tank and airbox off and gain access to the coils. Then plug in the tap in harnesses and run the wires to the killbox, while i had the airbox off i removed the 2ndary throttle bodies, lots of people say they made more power without these restricting the air flow, i also took the liberty to remove the metal screen from the stock air filter.

I then placed the MPS killbox next to the battery, it fits there great and really cant move once the gas tank is in place. Then i simply used a multimeter to find an ignition wire to power the killbox, and then grounded the killbox and the quickshift switch, then i sat and thought of the easiest cleanest and best way to mount it, you can pull the shifter lever off and there is a nice bolt behind it, i figured one of those rubberized pipe holders would hold this thing nicely while i attached the spring to the shift shaft, this way it can get the proper Tug when i shift and be almost hidden.

First impression is WOW, This is AMAZING, why dont all bikes come from the factory with something like this, they would have alot less issues with broken transmissions from missed shifts. Its amazing feeling the power never leave, I just cant get over how fast it shifts and completely accurately... I took it up to about 10k coming out of a stoplight and whacked 2nd and it spun the tire, i was in awe lol.

Also if i am crusing in 2nd i can hit 6th gear in damn near 1 second if i just keep banging up. I really cant believe how well it works, and i can really understand how it shaves time off at the strip easily, and makes you very consistent. Here are the pics i took during the install.
