Lift Kit Day 2

Today we definately had to get the jeep done, everyone has a busy weekend and im sure Adrian didnt want it sitting around for a few more days. Started by disconnecting the transfer case because spacers had to be installed to keep the pinion angle right. Then there were new springs and shocks up front and new crazy jeep steering bars, i dont even know what they are called haha. The front was a pain in the ass because it didnt want to go back together nicely, also installing large spring spacers and larger than stock springs presented a challenge, after the larger springs were in the front lower control arms would not line back up nicely, so we could not get the bolts in. This was very frustrating, hahah many failed attempts to get it to work and i finally said, screw it, take out the springs and well put it together then drop the springs in. Well that seemed to work out pretty good accept for the fact that i had to compress the shit out of the springs. I guess i was the only one crazy enough or stupid enough to compress the springs this far hahah since most were backing far away. The one side even slipped and shot a ring compressor after trying to gently nudge it in place lol. All in all it wasnt so bad, we then re-attached the sway bar and bled the rear brakes, and it was done, He doesnt have his fender flares in yet and boy does it rub! That will get sorted out no problem. Enjoy the pics!
