She's ALIVE

Well today ended on a great note, we started off slow this morning, I went up to franks and got the tires moutned, then later when we got back to the garage, connecting the exhaust we made last night and painted with the high temp paint, moved the hangers and got the exhaust done, reconnected the brake lines to the diff and bled the brakes front and rear. Ground down the tabs on the brake pads so the front rims would clear, then installed the rear swaybar. Next we got to installing the rear wheels. This was a huge pain in the ass, the left side went in fine, and the right was just not co-operating, anyone who has put on weld wheels knows what im talking about, ended up stripping 2 lugs, Ryan called around and had some ordered up for tomorrow, but thats tomorrow and so close to completion i just wanted to see it get driven around! We got ahold of Corey, who was gracious enough to let us borrow two lugs for the night, as he will be using his drag wheels tomorrow. After Corey and I tried to get the rim on again it just was not fitting, after some screwing around we realized the wheel studs were not strait, so Corey lined up some washers and nuts and pulled them strait, we threw the wheel on and they went on like nothing was wrong, sheesh... Cody was there on hand to help and he was taking pics, thankfully because i forgot my camera. After all was said and done we dropped it down and Ryan started it up and took it for a ride. Also in the midst of the wheels not going on right we found that the lowering springs were way too low with those wide of drag radials, so we put the stock springs in her!

Ryan returned after a wheelspinning adventure up and down the road, and all was well, packed it home for the night, she will get cleaned and a proper photoshoot will happen tomorrow in the nice weather. PICS!
