Fiddy Motor installation
Well it started off harmlessly enough, a power drill, me corey and ryan, overdrilling the shit out of the motor mounts on the frame, using washers to take up the extra space, now what we run into is the clutch cable doesnt fit at all, i still have to look into this, and the throttle cable is also too short... so i will probably have to order a clutch and throttle cable kit off teh intarwebnets. Back to the installation, after the motor was mounted, there was some question and frustration as to what do do about the wiring. Since there was no easy way to do it, and i hate looking at instructions, mainly because its usually the exact opposite of what i would do. So either way we get to installing the carb and skipping the wiring because that sucks, i dissasemble the needle and slide and i notice i dont have enough throttle cable... well now this sucks, after contemplating and thinking of a few hack things to do, i realize the throttle is about the only control i have over this thing and ide better just get the correct throttle cable... Also now we are faced wtih that, i realize now that we cant rev it, i now have to focus on the wiring i have been putting off...
Alright, we do some wiring, wich is me cursing at the wires because we cant get spark from the coil... way too frustrated for some reason, we decided to call it a night, corey and ryan had to get going so i figured i would sit and stare at some wiring diagrams till i figured it out, and well it clicked, i went out and smashed some wires together, and i got spark, viola. the fiddy lives!
So tomorrow i will work on the throttle and making sure the clutch works... and or buying cables. Here are some pics and video.
