well, AJ got his nitrous kit
Well AJ recieved his wet nitrous kit, so today me and him and corey decided was a good day to do the install. The most difficult part of the install was trying to figure out how, and where we would tap the fuel line for the wet nitrous kit. Since this could either be really easy, or really difficult. We lucked out and corey was first to check it out, finding a rubber fuel line. This would be amazingly easy, considering you can cut it and install a T bracket. Wich luckly enough was supplied with the kit, how could it get any easier. Also, AJ has previously mounted the bottle easily because there is nothing in the back of his van, so with that out of the way corey drilled a hole thru the bottom of the body and we ran the line into the engine bay, we then drilled lines and zip tied the solenoids in place, also punched a small hole on the intake gromet then installed the pirahna nozzle and zip tied it to make sure it doesnt come out.
We then tested the fuel and nitrous lines, and we have a problem with the fittings coming off the noids, they dont look to be the right size, since the lines we tested in and out of the kit dont seem to fit correctly. So me and Mr AJ will be going out and buying new fittings tomorrow and completing the wiring. Here are some pics for you to enjoy.

Well, its the trans...
Well, me and Mr Ryan, dropped the trans and removed the tail section, and when the top came off, there was quite the surprise. Please enjoy the pics.
We are going to goto the G-force transmissions place tomorrow and look at some gearsets and talk with them about what we should install.
Cecil County dragway Results
well.... my first run i got kicked out for not having leather pants... lol
First run of the day 11.39@129.92mph toooo fast for cecil county in khakis apparently.
I need to get some leather pants, it will be a christmas present to myself.
Ryan was doing good, shakedown run was an 11.9 with a 2.0 60ft, running pig rich on the top end.
Next run he did better with a 1.9 60ft and followed it up with a 11.7 @ 127 i think. he was spinning pretty good and then pedaling and it would hook and then go.
His third run he launched and spun like a bitch and tossed it into 2nd and let the clutch fly, and... wham. blew something in the drivetrain.
We are pretty sure its the trans, and even a little more sure it might be the input shaft.
So, looks like ryan only has one thing left on the list, and he already has parts for the diff when that grenades.

Getting Ready for Cecil County Dragstrip
Well we were out today tuning up the rusty and getting it ready for the track, we played with the bike suspension a little bit, raised it up, and i didnt like it stock height anymore haha so we dropped it again and i raised the rear coil about a half inch. it might come up a little bit more. Also we had the mustang out, doing some wastegate tuning at 10psi, and we lost boost.... strange, we thought the piping came off the throttle body or soemthing, when we got it back it sounded like a bad exhaust leak, after ryan got a good look under it you could see that where the wastegate was welded on the pipe split and it was hanging on by a thread, so he got to work quickly removing the surrounding pipes and whatnot and welded the hell out of the thing so it wont come off, hahah.
Either way that is holding up good, put even more mileage on the car and 10psi tuning is looking pretty good. Air Fuels are where we want, and its holding 10 psi pretty good. As always here are some pics for you to enjoy.

Nitrous installed on the crown vic
Well we picked up the rental and quickly got to work installing the nitrous line and solenoid Easily found a grommet in the firewall pulled it out and ram the stainless line right out of the cab, Next we ran the line to the air box with ease, the engine bay is gigantic and easy to get around. I had the idea to just disconnect the factory horns and use that to power the nitrous solenoid and cut out a lot of time and wiring for the noid, we wired it up and tested it, doesn't blow a fuse and powers the noid very well, so that was that, next we pulled the intake box of, easy enough there is a lot of space to hide the noid, and the jet, hell, there is even a hole that i just jammed the nitrous jet into, and screwed it in like it was supposed to be there. Next on the agenda is to wakeup tomorrow grab the nitrous bottle, and get to the dyno and start doing some pulls. Cant wait to tell you the news and or post up some more pics and video.
And as always, here are some pics.

Well, today me ryan and my dad put the bike in the trailer, and made a little frame out of wood to hold the front and rear wheel, and tested out ways of strapping the bike in. Even took it for a few test drives. Came out very nice im happy with it. It just sucks that its gunna rain all day sunday and we are'nt gunna get to take the toys out after all the time we spent getting the truck ready to town them to the track. It always ends up that way thought, doesnt it?
