Vinnys Coupe Dyno

This is actually franks old car wich he sold to Vinny, 375inch windsor based motor with a pt101mm turbo (106mm necked down to a 101) car makes great power and frank has piloted it to 7.35 @ 195mph. Vinny just got the motor rebuilt and they threw it on the dyno today with 0miles and made a 20psi, 24, and 34psi dyno runs before taking it to the track to make sure all is in order. Even though the tires spun at 34psi. Enjoy!

Johns Quicknova

John put his 69 nova on the dyno today, equipped with a nice 383 4bolt chevy smallblock, f1r procharger, th350 auto with a 9 inch out back and wilwood disc brakes all around, its a pretty nice package. First pull nice and warm on the dyno was 591rwhp and 461ftlbs, not bad not bad at all, we had conservatively estimated it to make about 550rwhp, so 591 was more than enough to make him happy on pump gas and 15psi. Bumped the timing a little bit, cooled the car down for 2 more pulls and ended up qith a stout 616rwhp 481ftlbs... the converter flashes to 5500rpms, so it misses peak tq, ide bet the car puts down over 550ftlbs but probably somewhere around 3800-4400rpm, so the converter flashing up misses that rpm band, either way this is a sick amount of power thru an automatic and a 9 inch, he has got to be happy with that, i will be intrested to see what this car does with some race gas and more boost.
