Rory In Turbo rusty

Rory was back from florida for the summer. One of his first things on his todo list was to take a ride in the turbo rusty! Here is a video documentary of the ride.

AJ Incar

Well since AJ is back from Arizona, and his nitrous kit is limited by his solenoid, im letting him borrow my solenoid for a while to see if he can do better at the track, and if he likes it he can buy his own solenoid. After i wire nutted it in there we took it for a spin for fun with a overfull bottle, here is the video!

Fixed the cobra again

nitrous was acting weird on the cobra, also to add to the fact that the car was doing low 11s when it should have been steady 10s. The WOT switch on the cobra was burned out, if you hit it, it would take about 5sec to turn on, then stay on, hahah. So we swapped that out, it will be at island this friday with the turbo rusty, should be some gooooood runs!

spray the g35

Decided to spray Toms G35 today, So we rigged up the kit and gave it a few blasts, the only sad thing was my biggest jet is a 40shot... you could definately feel it, but it wasnt crazy or anything. So i decided not to get any video, and just post the pics, if we ever dyno it i will be sure to video. Also if we buy bigger jets i will defiantely spray it.

Larry's 32 Ford coupe

Today my dad asked if i wanted to go check out larry's new motor he was dropping in his street rod, he used to have a blown 350, and he decided to throw in a 572 big block with a bigger blower, So me and Ryan went down with my dad, and checked it out, here are some pics. I should have taken some of underneath the car, because the underbody is just as clean as the rest of it.

Nitrous Fun

Today we were a little bored, Me and Corey talked about finishing spraying the civic, after i got a new soleniod. So we got a dynotune solenoid and hooked it up again and threw in the 31 jet i had, should be about 40hp to the wheels extra. We took it out and beat it up for a while. Eric forster came over and he beat up the civic for a while too. We launched it, did some burnouts, etc lol. Then we decided to spray his Accord. Map sensor car on a dry shot, no problem hahaha. Eric quickly found a location for the nozzle, he ripped out his pcv hose and we jammed it in there, works great! Zip tied it down so it couldent move and we were set. We started with the 18jet to see if there would be a problem, thats about 15hp to the wheels. Took it out and beat it up good and no problems, you could only feel it slightly as you would expect for 15hp. Anyway, we came back and Eric ordered up the 28jet, about 30whp. We took it out and Corey jumped in too. Drove the car around for a while, beat it up, it pinged pretty bad sometimes but Eric stayed in it. We were also spraying thru shifts hahahah, Never has the accord felt so alive. Finally cleaning out those cylinders and heating up those plugs!

Anyway, Here are some pics, enjoy.

Costas Dyno

Well today Costas's car went on the dyno for a little tune on some race with the new cams. I could type it all out, but its much more fun to watch the video to see what happens.

Here are some pics,

Nitrous Civic Surprise

Well today, me and corey found ourselves bored, and what would you do on a sunday afternoon while you are bored? Install nitrous oxide on your daily driver of course, and then romp it on the dyno. So we got to work jamming the nozzle in the airbox, and quickly bridging power off the battery, and then grounding it with a rocker switch in the car, first placement of the nozzle in the rubber tube basically had no responce, weird... So corey jammed a screw driver into the side of the airbox and then we put the nozzle in there, this time its definately working. Now its time to toss it on the dyno. We managed a nitrous pull, and then we did a stock pull, gained 30whp on a 30shot, not bad at all! Upped the jet to go for a 3rd pull, and wouldent you know it. The tired old solenoid finally burned up, just flat out refuses to open. So, to be continued, and we are definately going to race this at the track.

Diesel and Chevy stuff

Well today, me and ryan had planned on installing the 10k mod on the diesel truck, basically it works like this.

You pull the ICP sensor, wich measures fuel pressure and you install a resistor over the power and sensor wire, this tricks the sensor into believing there is less fuel pressure than normal. So it then electronically bumps the pressure, people swap in anything form 18-3.9k resistors, the lower you go the more pressure it bumps. Ryan tossed in a 10k and it really seemed to work, so he had another 10k apparently if you wire them together in paralell it makes 5k of resistance, and it seemed to improve it even more. So tomorrow he is going to get a single 3.9k and we are gunna toss that in for good.

Also while we were playing with the diesel, his brother and his friend pulled the motor out of the bird, More of that to come later.

Race for the belt!

Sorry for not getting in alot of updates, we really havent been doing much lately, We recently had a fun race event where the street race king put out a challenge to anyone who wanted to fight him for the belt. On his terms they ran highway rolls. Me and Costas beat him, taking 1st and 2nd place, leaving the king in 3rd. Here is the video of the events.

Nitrous Trailblazer

Well, you heard it right, those wacky kids are at it again, putting nitrous on cars you that make you tilt your head and squint your eyes to check if your monitor is blurry. No this is not a trail blazer SS so this is a perfect canidate to see what kind of simple power can be made. Seven will be volunteering his trailblazer for this experiment, and we will be dynoing the car friday to see whp gains. I only have a few jets but it will be neat to see what it does with them.

Schedule is as follows: Friday is the installation day, Saturday is the dyno day, Pictures and video coverage of everything i promise.

Dyno Donovans car

Donovan wanted to dyno his car today, to check out what kinda power it made and to check out some problems, and too see if it would go down on power because of headlift, one or two of the spark plugs looked like they had coolant marks on them after the last track pass. So just ran it a few times with a 160shot and also checked the difference in power between the NOS fogger nozzle and a DynotuneNitrous.org Nozzle. The difference was 50rwhp with the same size jets and bottle pressure, pretty amazing. Here are some pics.

Diesel Day

So Corey Finally finished the diesel project we started months ago, he had some spare time around the shop and decided to pull that final adjustment screw on the VE pump, he sent me some picture messages and the damn truck blows soot like a chimney now, he said power everywhere especially down low has had a huge increase, and also mentioned it soots like a mother, hahahah.

So he decided to stop by and show me since i wanted to see this for myself, so i busted out the video camrea and got some good footage of it sooting pretty good! i think we might put some nitrous on it to really get some power out of it.

Diesel Exhaust

Well Ryan decided today that the diesel exhaust is just too bottled up, lag and almost inaudible turbo... warrented having the exhaust removed, and a strait pipe installed in its place, so we unbolted the donut flange and just cut out the axel back after the muffler, funny thing is its not much louder than stock, but man does it sound great, spools up much better and makes noticeably much more power everywhere without being bottled up so bad, tomorrow we will pickup some 3.5 inch exhaust tubing and make the rest of the exhaust, most likely piping it out before the rear tire. Pics and whatnot later.

Turbo Mustang in the 10s!

Ryan and I went to Cecil county last night to race the rusty, and well, after some 11.0s he fintally stuck it in the 10s, two times in a row, cutting 1.6 60fts all day long, not bad at all! Welcome to the 10 sec club Ryan!
