Sloppy Diesel Intake
Well after seeing under the hood of the diesel we were like, fuck that huge airbox on the right, we are jamming a KN on there ASAP, we were at the dyno and timmy had a 4 inch inlet KN filter just sitting there, bought it for $15 dollars, Ryan knows he has some 4 inch exhaust pipe at home, so we figured alright, paint it and jam it on, and we are in buisness. So we did exactly that. Ripped out the stock rats nest, Took out the IAT sensor, painted and deburred the 4 inch pipe and then put it on and jammed the IAT in the filter, and Viola! its done! 15min mod to a freely breathing easily washable filter replacement for the turbo tow rig! Wewt!

Island Dragway
Well the sloppy mechanics crew went out to island dragway today. AJ got to run with the new trans for the first time. That supposed high stall converter isnt working the way it should but he still managed some high 15s not bad for the first time out, we are gunna see what we can do about the converter, maybee get a stock replacement. Donovan had the truck out with a 125shot in it, it did a best of 15.6 at 87 i believe, pretty damn good for a fullsize chevy work truck hahah. Coreys car was running out of power at the top of first gear and sometimes in the beginning of second, but it managed to bring the tires off the ground 3 times today! amazing for IRS rear end and stock axels. We also went back to the dyno and prepped the street and made some launches, its amazing what some vht will do on the street, car bogged a 4k launch on the street, pretty crazy. Either way, here are all the pics and the video will be up later.

Secret Dyno Day
Took the turbo rusty to the dyno today to get it all tuned up, here is a quick video of how it went down. There isnt much to say other than we are extremely excited, 580whp 630ftlbs on 13.5psi, pump gas of course! Also below the rusty video there is a lightning doing a burnout we caught on film today. I just added the dyno sheet today.

Coreys 2007 Race Promo
I got bored at like 6 in the morning and decided to toss something together about coreys car just for fun. Enjoy.
Exhaust and Fenders
Well, as much fun as the strait pipe dumps were, we knew we would get tired of hearing em, the raspyness up top and just too many nasty sounds coming out, not as smooth as we thought the turbo would make it, Ryan Decided to make a 3 inch 18inch long dynomax bullet, and just dump that, 3 inch no BS. So we cut the twins off and got to work making the 3 inch section, also Ryan had no hangers for 3 inch pipe so his uncle stretched out the 2.5 and we heated a threaded rod he had laying around and bent it over a 3 inch pipe. Tacked it in place and checked the fit, then finish welded it and i painted it. While i was globbing the paint on we were seeing if the 26inch Sticky Mickeys would fit on the 240, Ryan and his uncle taped off the fenders and got to work cutting them so the tires wouldent rub, that all went really well, took no time at all, bolted the wheels in, put the exhaust on no problem. Dropped the car back on the wheels and fired her up, exhaust sounds great, ryan took it for a quick drive and it took all the annoying sounds out and makes it sound a little more mellow, it still sounds great at idle and crusing but its just not as "clappy" as i would describe it, and no rasp in the higher rpms. Youll definately be hearing it in some video clips later. Without further delay, here are the pics.

Gauges Done
Well Ryan finished his custom gauge cluster at work, and Brian at work, powder coated it black. It looks great, so Ryan Installed the rest of the gauges tonight, ground out some clearance and powered the air fuel gauge and then installed them all. They look great, cant wait to try them out.

Twin Turbo Cobra
I went up to Franks today to do some computer work, Ryan came up to get some parts he ordered through Frank. Earlier in the week Frank had said a twin turbo 03 Cobra would be coming up to dyno on wednesday night, i told him i would definately be around too see it. I left to go up to Franks shop around 3 and the cobra was already there waiting. Got to check it out but i didnt take any good pictures outside, wich i should have, doh! Either way frank finished tuning a car and the cobra was next! They did pump gas and some drivabilty today, made 700whp on around 17psi, im not too sure on the boost level. Could have pushed it by why not be safe. Going to do racegas tunes tomorrow, looking to make over 1000hp. Here are the pictures and video.

Timmy's then gauge install
Corey called me this morning, said he was going to the shop to do some mass air meter testing because the sct2400 seems bad, tried the stock sensor and some tunes, and tried some playing around with the O2 sensors. It seemed to me like the mass air meter was bad from the beginning, but tim and corey were trying some stuff to test it out and make sure it was the mass air meter or the 02 sensors, i really wasnt paying that much attention but it seems like in the end the 2400 is bad.
While all of this was going on i was just screwing around on the quad really. We had the big one out but it was pretty useless, 700cc fuel injected vtwin, 2wd only, it just has too much power and not enough traction. So i started riding the fiddy and doing some stunting, it was passing the time pretty quickly, Ryan nabbed some video.
Well then later we decided to install the new gauges Ryan got in the mustang, he is making a triple holder, so i made a temporary cardboard gauge holder! hahahha either way, Me Corey and Ryan got them all installed and they work great. Here are pics and video from the gauge install!

95 240sx Engine/Tranny Install Project
Main Link:
http://www.e-rak.com/cody/gallery/album149
A local friend of mine acquired this 1995 Nissan 240sx from another kid in jersey, accept it had one problem: No Engine :( My pal called upon me to help him with the engine swap, and in doing so it went from beyond the bolt on stage, and became my first actual side job of the season.
The car's exterior WAS NOT touched by me or the current owner, and was instead painted/rolled by a previous owner. My job was to simply get the mechanicals working, and to get the car ready for either his own personal ownership, or for sale.
First Day:
http://www.e-rak.com/cody/gallery/album157
Matt, Ryan, Seven, and myself hopped into Seven's Trailblazer and headed into the armpit of America (New Jersey) to recover this poor car. The owner wasn't present, so as Seven was talking over the logistics with the owners dad, the rest of us were checking the car out, and deciding upon what was the fastest, most brazen way to get the thing on the trailer. Luckily for us there was a decent hill, and we used gravity to help us get the car on trailer. We brought the car back to Mr Halpin's house, where it sat until I could pick it up. I then brought it back to Ace Trucking, and it's been here ever since.
The car was obviously in rough shape, with oil everywhere, no engine, unknown harness, rolled paint, damaged panels, but they would all soon change.
Engine Bay Cleaning:
http://www.e-rak.com/cody/gallery/album154
When I recieved the car, it had no engine at all. Story has it that the KA24DE that was in the car blew up 2 owners ago, with the last
owner being responsible for removal. As we all known with any blown engine, fluids are bound to spray into every nook and cranny
imaginable, and this was the case with this car.
The engine bay was literally FILTHY and covered with oil (as is the entire underside of the car). A quick bath in Superclean, along with a scrub by the the hi pressure/hi heat pressure washer, and the engine bay looked like it had never seen dirt!
Nothign is worse than working on a dirty car, so the 10 to 15 minutes spent cleaning is WELL worth the aggrevation in my eyes...plus
cleaning while the engine out is MUCH easier.
Engine Install:
http://www.e-rak.com/cody/gallery/album156
After a solid cleaning, I began to put the KA24DE out of my 97 S14 into the chassis. While the mechanics of the swap are straightford,
the details are not. Being that the car was a 95, and the engine was a 97, the FULL OBDII 97 engine had a few extra sensors that the 95 chassis wasn't wired for. Luckily none of these things are needed. I ended up needing to use an S13 thottle body as well to help with TPS issues. Ontop of the that, the owner of the car sourced a transmission, but come to find out before the swap, it was in fact an s13 tranmission, so I needed to drill/tap and make a provision for use with an 95+ Crank Angle Sensor/Pickup.
All sensors were swapped over from s13 to S14, exhaust and driveshaft were installed, new seals in the transmission were installed, new bolts were put in, and new hoses, oil, and other fluids were installed.
Completed Job:
http://www.e-rak.com/cody/gallery/album152
Finally, the swap was complete. After buttoning up a few items, hookup up sensors, I went to tackle the bleeding of the clutch. Even with knowing what a pain in the butt my s14 was, I attemped to bleed the wacky system. Once again however, after wasting nearly 3 hours attempting to bleed the factory dampening block and slave cylinder, I decided to throw the dampening block in the brush, and simply bend the metal hardline, making it screw into the factory rubber line. Problem solved, system bled.
I washed the car down, cleaned up the engine bay plastics, and took a few pics. The car runs and drives like a baby, and is night and day compared to my s14 (obviously). It was a fun project, and wouldn't mind at all doing the swap again!
Took my bike to get redyno'd today!
well i rode out there in the rain today lol, and they gave me the dyno for free haha. Awesome gains in the mid range, they dont have an air fuel sniffer so i couldent tell what it was, 75% humidity today im surprised i gained as much as i did, i wanna take it to profab on a less humid day and see if i can pickup some top end if its going rich or lean or what i dont know, but great gains everywhere, even way down low where i thought for sure i would loose power. I think on a cool day, with my coolant temps below 210 it will easily pull 110whp. In the video then the damn thing spun its tire on the first dyno run because it was wet lol!

Just incase you were wondering
the sloppy mechanics have just been regrouping for a while, i know after the 1800 dollar trans, the 1000 dollar built rear, the 700 dollar weld rims and 400 dollar tires for them. Among many other things have taken a toll on the poor sloppy pocket book of ryan. Corey has spent more than he wanted too on the cobra. I still dont have the money to buy things for the bike hahah. So we are just chillin out for a bit, ryan still needs to get a line lock and a tune before we goto the track, so this weekend we will probably dyno the car make some 12-14psi runs and shoot for 580rear wheel. Corey was talking to me today about putting spray on his brothers truck for fun and racing it at island! that should be fun, and if he can get the parts by thursday wants to race it friday night and piss off some ricers. I will be sure to get the beater nitrous truck project filmed and pictures etc!
Hopefully in 2 weeks we can return to the track bike, cobra, and rusty and have a great time. See you at island dragway!

Spring has come, and the beast is loose!
Fired it up around noon, cleaned her up a bit at the car was, and scared the people there hahaha, went out for a nice drive breakin the diff and clutch and trans hahahah. Took some pictures in the industrial park I have some short video that i will upload later but here are the pics!

She's ALIVE
Well today ended on a great note, we started off slow this morning, I went up to franks and got the tires moutned, then later when we got back to the garage, connecting the exhaust we made last night and painted with the high temp paint, moved the hangers and got the exhaust done, reconnected the brake lines to the diff and bled the brakes front and rear. Ground down the tabs on the brake pads so the front rims would clear, then installed the rear swaybar. Next we got to installing the rear wheels. This was a huge pain in the ass, the left side went in fine, and the right was just not co-operating, anyone who has put on weld wheels knows what im talking about, ended up stripping 2 lugs, Ryan called around and had some ordered up for tomorrow, but thats tomorrow and so close to completion i just wanted to see it get driven around! We got ahold of Corey, who was gracious enough to let us borrow two lugs for the night, as he will be using his drag wheels tomorrow. After Corey and I tried to get the rim on again it just was not fitting, after some screwing around we realized the wheel studs were not strait, so Corey lined up some washers and nuts and pulled them strait, we threw the wheel on and they went on like nothing was wrong, sheesh... Cody was there on hand to help and he was taking pics, thankfully because i forgot my camera. After all was said and done we dropped it down and Ryan started it up and took it for a ride. Also in the midst of the wheels not going on right we found that the lowering springs were way too low with those wide of drag radials, so we put the stock springs in her!
Ryan returned after a wheelspinning adventure up and down the road, and all was well, packed it home for the night, she will get cleaned and a proper photoshoot will happen tomorrow in the nice weather. PICS!
rear brakes, exhaust, filter, shifter
Little things here and there, hopefully the car should be done this weekend, Ryan got the rear tires today in the mail, and yesterday we drove to westchester to get the skinnies for the front, tomorrow im having them mounted at franks shop, and then we can bolt them on, ryans uncle put the drum rear brakes together did a great job. We also painted the freshly welded lower control arms, Fitted a new KN filter that Ryan ordered since the other one was too long, also installed a shifter so that is good to go... even fabbed up a new exhaust today because Ryan was tired of the sidepipes.
More pictures of the completed exhaust tomorrow and wheels and tires on the car!!! May be running this weekend!

Lower Control Arms
Set the pinion angle today with the adjustable lower control arms. Welded them in place so they can never move! Pretty simple so im not gunna waste time over elaborating, here are the pictures.
Full Moon, Its ALIVE!
Well we got to fire it up and hear how she sounds after months of sitting, she sounds healthy as ever, ready to play! Just a few more things and it will be out on the road. Video!

Turbo Rusty Ready To Start
Today we started working on the mustang around 1pm, Ryan Corey and I were all working on our own thing at the same time, we got alot of things done today. Then the three of us putting in the diff got it done really fast. Starting by replacing the fuel filter in the back and painting over the freshly installed tq boxes, then cutting off the quadshock mounts on the diff and painting over them. While me and Corey were taking turns cutting the mounts off the rear, and after i took a good chunk out of my finger haha, Ryan was cutting off the twin HKS mounts off the intake pipe, and welding them shut, then installing the flange to mount the Turbonetics Raptor BOV. Ryan got pretty far and then actually ran out of welding gas, of course, so Corey and I drove over to his shop and picked up the big bottle he has. Ryan finished welding the new flange on and the blocking the old ones, painted it quick with some paint and we installed it, then we also threw in the wideband o2 sensor and the up pipe off the intercooler to the throttle body. When all that was done we put the rear and the lower control arms in the car. Next was the driveshaft and then he had to install the starter, this didnt fit right because of the new bellhousing so some drilling had to be done, and he also needs to install some spacers because the starter isnt disengauging, this happened before so he just spaces it. So we decided to call it a night and fire it up tomorrow. All in all it went really well, we got a ton of stuff done today and we gotta be proud of ourselves, the rest of the parts should be in maybe by the end of the week wich include but are not limited too; Tires, shifter, gauges, braided lines for the oil relocator etc. Here are the pics!

Cobras all day...
Well, everyone was up pretty early today, I metup with Corey in Emmaus at about 830, loaded up some tools, the nitrous bottle and some more of the interior of the cobra to take up to the dyno... also took up the drag wheels and probably other stuff I cant remember, Corey and I started by mounting the nitrous bottle to a new location, we did the same thing as we did for the water box, we welded some bolts to the floor and then tightened nuts to hold it in place, it works great! Timmy uploaded a tune to get the cobra running good and then we put it on the dyno. It was giving him alot of trouble till he got it going where he wanted, and long story short, all day yesterday a friends cobra was giving him trouble, later on that one. So after he got Coreys cobra where he wanted to, no matter what it is pulling 12+ AFR after 6000rpm. We are almost sure its out of injector, since no matter how much fuel you add there, it just wont change anything. Well either way on the spray it makes good power and the AFR stays where we want it, so we will just run the bottle all year.
Now, Donovans friend Sean got an ebay procharger kit, and getting the couplers to stay on the intercooler and pipes were a big challenge, he is going to order some tbolt clamps because the hoses and connectors etc keep blowing off, then that can get tuned. Also there are pics of Coreys refilling station he put together himself, works really well, fills a 10lb bottle in about 5 min. Here are the pics and video.

Nitrous Van Built trans install
Well after about 8 hours total, we have the new trans in, and the van ready to go, battery was dead and it was out of gas, so we will wait until thats taken care of before we really screw around with it, I would say it went pretty well, and we got it done in a decent amount of time for not really rushing it at all. Here are the pics, Pictures and video.
